Love from Andrea ...

Thank you for visiting my new blog. I hope you enjoy my cards. I just love to make pretty things and if I'm not crafting or shopping for crafting supplies (it's a hobby in itself!) then I'm plotting and planning and thinking about what I want to make next!

Polkadoodles: Party Time!...

There is a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge blog, we would love you to join in with  us

This little Winnie is off to a party with a snazzy gift pouch to hold the birthday girl's present

All the digital papers, the Winnie image and the sentiment are from the Winnie Celebrations 1 printable download kit from Polkadoodles

Polkadoodles: Fancy Fold ...

There is a new challenge over at The Digi Choosday challenge blog today, anything goes as usual but the DT were challenged to make a 'fancy fold'. My fancy folds still have straight edges and doodling and aren't too fancy but ... I've designed a step by step tutorial to share more information about how I made my project!

I've made a Halloween Treat Pocket all ready for Trick or Treat night ...

Products used:

Papers and pre-coloured image from WinnieWednesday download collection by Polkadoodles

Polkadoodles: Forgotten Techniques ...

There is a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge Blog... it's always 'anything goes' but the DT were challenged to use a forgotten technique and I just can't turn down the opportunity to make another Christmas card so my project is a Christmas card but my forgotten technique is the doodled border around the edge of the card. My cards always used to have this kind of doodling on them and I'd forgotten how it can finish off a card and bring it all together within the focal point

I used a precoloured image, papers and sentiment tag from Work & Play 5 Festive Hollybobs (Polkadoodles) and added my favourite red saddlestitch ribbon, polka dot button, pins and stickles all from The Ribbon Girl. I also used corrugated kraft card and dimensional Snowpaste to add to the festive feeling

There's a new challenge over at the Digi Choosday challenge blog today and the DT have been challenged to make a card for a little person. I've used papers and a sentiment  from the Winnie Celebrations 3 download kit and that fabulously magical unicorn image from Polkadoodles. The sparkly silver frame is diecut with the Polkadoodles Bubbleicious die

I added sparkly star beads and silver twine from The Ribbon Girl and lots and lots of glitter!

Challenges I'm entering:

Polkadoodles: The Great Outdoors

There is a new challenge over at the Polkadoodles Challenge blog, it's always 'anything goes' but today the DT were also challenged to create with the theme the great outdoors.

I've made this woodland scene on my card using the Foxy Fun critter die (coloured with Copics) the Nuts About You and 24 Carrot Friend clear stamps. The lovely background paper is from the Great Outdoors A5 paper pack all from Polkadoodles.

I added some faux hessian ribbon around his neck as a scarf and Liquid Pearls to the little die cut toadstools from The Ribbon Girl
